Groups are useful in Secret Chest for two main functions. The first is to be able to share secrets to more than one user at a time. The other is to configure policies. Groups can be created in one of two ways. The first is by creating a group in an IdP that Secret Chest is federated to. At the next SCIM update, the group should automatically appear in Secret Chest. The second way to add a group is to open the Secret Chest web app at app.secretchest.io and click on Groups in the sidebar.
From the Groups screen, click on Add Group (or select a group to edit) and then enter a name of the group.
Click Create to complete creating the group and add users to it.
